It was my first day back today.
More importantly first long day left alone with her sisters for Muppin.
She seems to have survived just fine, although totally starving, because apparently there was something wrong with the entire food selection left out for her today.
I am an expert at leaving everything to the last minute and the quilt I am making for raffling at the School fair (proceeds to a charity) is not done. I had a go at lying out the bandanas I am using ( donated by kids at school) but there was just too much help going on. Caramello is just out of the shot watching everything. She walked over it all later and messed it up more.
These 2 wrestled and chased all over it ...so much for all my careful washing and ironing.
Here is Muppin on her very first outing in the cat run. I have to prop the cat door open for her and she has only gone in the top bit so far but she totally loves it. Caramello just glared at us because I had ruined yet another of her private things by letting the stinkly newcomer in to it.
She knows that the hole leads somewhere but she just hasn't quite worked out how to get down there yet.....more adventure yet to come!
First day back with the kids tomorrow and I am all ready to go. I have a 3rd year student from the Uni for the next 2 weeks too so it is all on.
