I have made the decision, I have signed ( digitally) on the dotted line and this blog is mine!! All mine!! ( Cue maniacal laughter)
Now I am all committed and I feel very weird and I want to undo it as soon as possible – and I did the middle level as I am too frightened in case I lose the innate greenness if I downgraded. It is a fait accompli now, and I will learn to live with it…
Speaking of living, it looks like I will be living a bit longer, at least!! I have an Hb of over 10!! Yes, that’s right, my haemoglobin is over 10, I am almost at the bottom level of the normal range, and I don’t have to go to the specialist for 3 whole months!!! Hooray!! Though I do have my Group and Hold blood form in case I suddenly need a transfusion!!
What else have I done today? Well I can only wear my favourite new cross over green top and new shoes!! Oh and jeans as well, goes without saying, don’t want to frighten anyone. I have to wash my top and dry it every day so I can wear it again. This is me being obsessive again. I go through stages of only being able to wear the same thing every day. It is nice not having to decide or choose, and I like new things too!!! My shoes are lovely and less tight now.
Illegal items eaten by the Labradors yesterday!!
4 free range eggs – raw
5 biscuits – iced
5 biscuits – uniced
I forgot to shut the Baby gate into the kitchen last night and when they were hopping on and off the bed, they didn’t want to go outside ( believe me, I tried to send them) they had been on secret insurgency missions into the kitchen to steal all the biscuits I had cooked for morning tea!!!! Harki wasn’t well last night after the eggs. I am not sure who had what, but it was not good!!
Knitting done? NONE! The scarf is delivered, the Jumper is ready to go tomorrow. .
Sewing completed? The heart quilted and embroidered, and sent off this afternoon.
Cooking? I am planning to make an Italian casserole for tea.
There, that is the totality of my day, a walk, a doctor’s appointment at the Holman Clinic and a tiny shop at the supermarket.
Easy Sticky Chicken Wings
- 16 chicken wings
- ½ cup honey
- 1-2 tbspn soy sauce
- ½ cup sesame seeds
Cut the wing tips off the wings as otherwise they burn. Place all other ingredients into a bowl and add the wings. Mix well to coat and leave in the fridge for an hour at least , or overnight. Preheat the oven to 200 C ( 180 ff). Place wings skin side down on baking tray and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning once. That’s it!!
