My parents are moving house...which means I am helping. They have actually moved now and we are at the unpacking stage. This is a slightly better stage than the other one where you have to pack everything and clean everything...now we are cleaning everything and unpacking everything.
I am stuffed. Only have camera pictures....couldn't risk having a camera there in case it got packed. I am soooooooooooooo glad I have late night PD after school tomorrow...a phrase I NEVER thought I would ever use in my life. But it means I have been granted permission NOT to stop at the new house on the way home and do jobs.
The kittens are not happy at all. I have been home late every night and away at the weekend...well last weekend was for fun...this weekend wasn't. They are very sooky and demanding...but I know they will get over it. Muppin plasters herself to the screen door everything I try to leave the house...it is worse than leavign your kid at kinder for the forst time...lots of crying and the look that says "you don't love me ...if you did you wouldn't abandon me"! And like most kinder kids ...before you are back in the car the tears have stopped and they are playing quite happily. I had to come back inside to get something on Saturday and Muppin had already gone back to bed the little wretch!
These are leaving pictures. I haven't time to post the arriving ones...have to go and unpack something. I was allowed a late start todat....don't have to be there before 11. Since it is 10.55 and I haven't even had a shower yet I think I am going to be in trouble. Sigh.
PS> Don't even bother leaving a comment that says anything about kittens not being like kinder kids. I've worked with both...they are as diffucult to train, as hard to round up, make as much mess, are as hopeless at toileting and would happily play with the same toys!
One lot has more fur!!!
LOL I totally agree with your 'PS'! :)

I think they should strike a special medal for people who go above and beyond the call of parental duty!!
Poor kittens, they are such divas.
The Labradors think you have been gone for either hours, or just a minute: depending on which one it is!!
The new house is very nice though!!

Yes, placing all your stuff in the once-empty new house is fulfilling. It would be cool, though, to have a before and after of the old and the new houses. Just to compare. Moving into a new house is always refreshing.
